Tours in the cities.

Bilbao

We suggest a minimum walking tour of 4 hours, which allows you to see main areas of Casco Viejo & Bilbao la Vieja, the area of the Ensanche of Bilbao and the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum (only from outside) and have time as well to have a taste of local appetizer called "pintxo" or a drink.

To go inside the Guggenheim Museum and make a private tour of the best pieces in its collection, we will recommend you making the tour 2 hours longer.

Using a transport (car or underground), you can also go to interesting areas on the coast, like the Hanging Bridge and the old port of Getxo.

If you want to visit the best of Bilbao and Greater Bilbao Area, you can think about sleeping in Bilbao and making a 6 hours tours each day.

San Sebastian

This city is the world foodies' paradise and a place that food lovers travelling by Spain or the Basque Country should not miss. Therefore, any private tour in San Sebastian normally have one stop to taste some of the local delicacies called "pintxos" and to know the history of the city, the beach of La Concha.

Other key points in the city are the Comb of the Winds and Igeldo Mountain where you can arrive after going up in a more than 100 years old funicular. As you can see, a very comprehensive tour that can be done in 4 or 5 hours. 
With 2 or 3 hours more, we can also visit the nearby town of Pasajes and the house of Victor Hugo.

Rioja

For this tour, we will need a transport, because the distances between wineries and places to visit is big.

If you are staying in Rioja wine production area or very close, I recommend you a 4 to 6 hours tour. However, if you are starting from Bilbao or San Sebastian, a full day (8 hours) tour is required.

This is a fun lots of fun for small group of friends or for families, specially if you are wine lovers. If you tell us your preferred wines, we can organize a tour with most interesting wineries for you and if you have it clear which wineries you want to see, we can include them in your private day tour. Due to the size of this region, you can stay in the area on relaxing visits of even 1 week or more, having wine treatments, or just enjoying the relaxed way of life in these small towns and villages.

 

Biarritz

LGBT traveler coming with friends or family, sea lover or luxury lover will find his place in this town. Biarritz is a great place to play surf, golf or rugby, and also is a great base to explore the French Basque Country. Winter is maybe the best moment to relax with your partner in a romantic weekend.

Main icons of Biarritz can be seen in a 4 hours tour, but if you have more time available, there are histories, activities and details around the town which can make the visit more interesting.

Have a dinner from 9pm to 11pm, with your guide if you want, in a selected gay friendly restaurant with excellent food and incredible atmosphere.

From 11pm to 4am we will enjoy best of gay bars and clubs in town.Night out to see a show running in the city: theater, music, with gay subject or not. We can also go if you want to enjoy shows of drag queens, boys, etc.

General Terms & Conditions of our services

Here we wanted to show you some general terms and conditions applied to our services. These terms or conditions can be agreed to be modified for your private day tour conditions.

Our services do not include:

• Lunch, dinner, tapas, pintxos or any other food.
• Transport costs of any kind (although I can organize it for you if needed).
• Entrance fees to museums, monuments or sites.

Cancellation policy:

• For cancellation of a service, you have to write an email to info@ernestodelgado.es indicating clearly your name, the reference of your booking and that you want to cancel it.
• Reservation fees will be not refunded in case of cancellation. Appart of reservation fees, other cancellation charges may happen as well.
• All banking fees in case of cancellation will be paid by the person who wants to cancel.

For changes you can write an email indicating the reference of your booking to info@ernestodelgado.es 

We can not guarantee any change in the tour until we have checked our availability and the provider's information. Some changes may have an additional cost.

 

Prices (for private walking tours):

• 4 hours private walking tour: 380 EUR per group.
• 6 hours private walking tour: 470 EUR per group.
• 8 hours private walking tour: 560 EUR per group.
